Building your international business

I bring you my warmest wishes from the Outrigger Club trip in Tahiti! During this visit, I have often thought about how noni has become internationally renowned. It’s wonderful to see how this small fruit has affected so many lives for good. It makes me feel grateful for the efforts of IPCs, like you, who have shared their stories around the world.

In my travels, I meet IPCs who have friendships and business ties with other IPCs in different countries. For example, while I was in Switzerland, I met an IPC who was a part of Donna Wadsworth’s team (no relation, … Continue Reading

I want to hear from you

Traveling to different markets around the world has given me the opportunity to mingle and talk with TNI IPCs and to get their comments and feedback on what’s working well for them, and what improvements they would like to see.

If I could, I would like to travel and talk with IPCs even more often. But that’s why I started this site—I want to hear from you. I want to get your feedback; I want to know what you’re thinking and feeling; what you’d like to see happen at TNI; where you think we should go in the future, and more.

This … Continue Reading

Local offices and staff help build your business

Did you know that TNI conducts business in more than 70 markets around the world, and we have more than 50 offices in over 30 countries worldwide?

These sales offices are specially designed to give our international IPCs local, on-the-ground support to help you build your business. The employees in each office are local professionals who know the culture of the country they’re working in, and more specifically, they know how to help IPCs build a business.

The primary responsibility of these staff members is to listen to your concerns, help you solve problems, and provide training opportunities. We established these offices … Continue Reading

The President’s Council Represents You

I’m in Tahiti right now, and being among our amazing IPCs always makes me think about ways we can improve as a company and help you build your businesses.

One communication tool we’ve recently added to help us help you is our President’s Council. I know most of you have heard of this group, so I want to explain their purpose.

This is a group of top-performing IPCs that meet with me and the board periodically to talk about what’s going on, our strategy, and our plans for the future. This is a way for us to get great feedback from the … Continue Reading

Your Income is Recession-Proof

Here are some interesting statistics, especially in light of today’s uncertain economic climate:

• Over the past 20 years, the direct selling industry has continued to grow, regardless of the state of the economy.
• In the U.S., the direct selling industry generates $32 billion in sales annually.
• There are over 15 million people in the U.S. and 60 million people worldwide involved in direct sales.
• A U.S. Federal Reserve survey in 2004 showed that the average U.S. household net worth for self-employed persons is 5 times that of people employed in traditional jobs.

Right now, everyone is concerned about employment, covering their monthly expenses, and higher … Continue Reading

New TNI Mission Statement

Ia’Orana, TNI Leaders –

I’ve just returned from our most recent U.S. Jade Camp in San Francisco. It was an incredible experience for me.

The energy and excitement, the growing feeling of unity and dedication among leaders of all levels, and the renewed commitment of our IPCs have left me feeling more hopeful than ever about the future and destiny of Tahitian Noni International. I am sure that in every market you are experiencing similar feelings in your own Jade Camps and meetings.

One of the main topics discussed at the Jade Camp was a new mission statement for TNI. It will be … Continue Reading

The advantages of owning your own business in a slow economy

I found an interesting statistic last week on Reuters.com:

Analysts estimated unemployment claims would be 3.72 million. It was the 26th straight week that claims were above 3 million in a sign that the slowing economy is making it harder for U.S. workers to find jobs.

I know times are rough right now for many people, but as an IPC, this can represent a time of growth! There are so many people hungry for change and they’re willing to work hard for real results.

As an IPC, you know all the benefits of owning your own home-based business:

• You are your own boss … Continue Reading

TNI: Leading the Industry

I received a message last week through this website from Marcia L., an IPC who asked me the following:

With TNI’s recent restructuring in the United States and the current economic climate of the country, I would like to see you address the current economic “state of the union” for TNI.

I appreciate Marcia’s request and wanted to discuss with you what we’re currently doing at TNI to ensure that we continue to be the most innovative and rewarding opportunity in the industry.

First, I know that competition in the industry is very fierce right now, and that as IPCs you have many … Continue Reading

Student Scholarships and New Computers

Through the scholarship arm of the Do Something Good initiative, TNI is helping Tahitian students realize the dream of receiving a college education. These scholarships are reserved for TNI-certified noni harvesters and their children. Our management team in Tahiti evaluates the applications and selects the recipients based on grade point average and financial need.

We know how important computer literacy is, especially in today’s technical world. But many schools in Tahiti don’t have the resources available to provide children with these essential skills. We are working to change that. TNI is refurbishing a portion of our corporate computers and sending … Continue Reading
